Escaping
Toxic Guilt: Five Proven Steps to Free Yourself from Guilt for Good
by
Susan Carrell
McGraw-Hill
Escaping
Toxic Guilt
is for people who tend to be overly giving, hyper-responsible, invested
in pleasing others, and inclined to rescue. They find themselves
trapped by their own good intentions and ruled by the unreasonably
high expectations they have of themselves. The freedom to live as
they would really like eludes them. They often know what they want
to do to make their life better, but they can’t make a move.
Commonly, they have no idea what is behind their troubles. It is
guilt. So, if you know, or even think, that guilt might be an issue
in your life, this book will help. Click

Hi, I'm Susan Carrell. Here’s
a quick way to introduce myself:
• First and foremost,
I’m a Relationship Coach which means I’m
a mental health professional who is passionate about working with healthy
individuals to help them make the most of their relationship with self,
others, and God.
More about
coaching:
Individual
coaching. If I were your coach I wouldn’t be interested
in changing your basic personality, and you shouldn’t be either.
I’d help you hone the skills you already have into a way of being
in the world that is more satisfying to you and to others. I would also
teach you new skills so that you can play the game of life in the most
effective way possible.
Couple coaching.
As your couples coach, I would focus on the strengths and abilities that
have kept you and your partner together thus far. We would examine the
plays that aren’t working well, and I would suggest some new game-plans.
Then it’s practice, practice, practice.
• I’m
an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and I have
a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling.
• I’m
a former Chaplain and understand the importance of
spirituality.
• I’m
an RN (Registered Nurse) who specialized in psychiatric
nursing.
